"I want to go places where people are doing arts."

2nd Saturday is starting to feel like the State Fair.

These guys:

Nothing says art like roping fake cows. Although if they told me it was a performance art piece I'd go with it.

Men Cycling in place:
Maybe art is becoming so modern that we can't even tell it's art. Edgy

Headed over to 22nd & K to see Bill Hughes and Buddy Holly.

Turns out we just missed seeing dancers from the Sacramento Ballet dance to some Holly tunes. I love Bill's presentation of his poems.

I liked Bill's glasses.

Made our way to Verge.
David M. Stein's Improbable/Unlikely :

Some of these books are real, and some of them are Stein's creation. I need to go back and check out which ones are real. I'm impressed with his ability to design in so many different styles. I would buy most of these books of they were real.

Museum of love- the works of Daniel Johnston
This guy was really feeing the Johnston tape that was playing. I can't blame him.

just lovely

Some of my favorites:

I really love Daniel Johnston. There is something so aching and sincere about his art and music. I think I'm going to obsessively be listening to Johnston for awhile because of this show. If you didn't get a chance to check it out I highly encourage you to go. It will be up through June 21st.

Later in the night while watching public access:

The face made after saying "The Matrix isn't just a movie."

Moses was shocked:

  2. You should be a pet photographer. You really captured the essense of Moses. That picture of Bill is amazing. His hair is looking good. Actually, I may look like that in 25 years (or less?) I wonder if the book on TV test patterns is real. I read about test patterns recently and it was a lot more interesting than one would think.

  3. I really loved the books - he had some great titles! There was one on having a child being the biggest mistake they had ever made...
